Our client, a growing company located in West Palm Beach, is in need of a Commercial Property Accountant. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day property accounting functions including financial reporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, month-end close and account reconciliations. This company operates on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days remote).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Handle month-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations

• Create and explain monthly financial reports and analysis for internal management and investors

• Ensure processes and procedures are followed

• Review fixed assets and prepare monthly depreciation reports

• Assist with special projects as required

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting

• 3+ years of property accounting experience

• Excellent communications skills

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
