CompStak is looking for a user-centric, results-oriented Senior Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering product experiences that delight our users and allowing them to fully realize the value of CompStak’s data, analytics, and insights. This extends from increasing the value of existing products to developing new and innovative solutions.

We have a hybrid work environment where we go into the office 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days a week.*

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your full range of product design skills, from ideation with product managers to working with engineers, implementing your detailed mocks, to produce best-in-class UX/UI that helps define a new category of investing.
• Solve complex client problems in simple and intuitive ways that start with a deep understanding of customer workflows and deliver solutions that blend together brand personality, visuals, and motion to create delightful experiences.
• Test prototypes and hypotheses with our end-users and champion for their needs.
• Maintain design consistency by working with our design system (and help us expand and evolve it).
• Proactively audit and improve experiences across our products.

You Will Be a Fit For This Role If You:

• 4+ years of product design experience (startup experience is a plus).
• You have experience working with product managers and engineering teams, communicating effectively to ensure the team puts the customer experience first and tests assumptions when necessary.
• You build through a user-centric lens and design not only beautiful, but usable experiences.
• You have a “get stuff done” mindset, knowing how to think on the fly and persist through setbacks and roadblocks and to motivate your teammates to do the same.
• You are highly motivated and want ownership of your work.

Nice to haves:

• Background in commercial real estate so you can deeply understand our users.

The base pay ranges provided below are for NYC Metro-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than the NYC Metro area may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
