Alert Innovation, now powered by Walmart, is a fast-growing venture on a mission to reinvent retail through robotics. We've partnered with Walmart to develop our Alphabot® technology, which is currently being deployed at stores throughout North America.

We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the scope, schedule, and cost of various projects across Operations to drive overall effectiveness of the organization.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and can apply focused strategies and tactics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This important resource acts as a coordinator between multiple projects, teams, and organizations to ensure they are benefiting each other and are aligned with overall business goals. Successful criteria ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
We're also seeking experience in using a team-centric project management system. You enjoy bringing forward new ideas and concepts without being prompted and have the initiative and skills to adequately implement changes they see necessary. You have the capability for coaching all levels of the organization, including in the adoption of the new methods and processes, and exhibit infectious leadership that inspires and creates excitement when working through challenges.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:

  • Manage projects across all Operations functions which will involve multiple departmental or cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities
  • Assume responsibility for the program's resources and vendors
  • Assess program performance and align Team priorities to deliver against stated objectives
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager in a matrix-structured organization with hands-on experience in Operations and/or New Product Development environments.
  • Have possession of a comprehensive suite of tools applicable to common project challenges.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; able to build effective team relationships and efficiently mediate teams to achieve consensus. Ability to handle conflicts and ambiguity in a constructive way.
  • Identify opportunities to create and improve processes, tools and systems in use to ship hardware, partnering with cross-functional teams to plan and implement improvements
  • Experience managing within a process framework with history of producing strong results
  • Excellent knowledge of change management principles.
  • Ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and software systems at a high level, as well as basic Finance knowledge.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent formal training preferred.
  • Experience using MS Project preferred.
  • B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent experience

Pay: $136,620.00 - $166,980.00 per year
