Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with nearly every function at AccelByte to develop compelling event schedules and coordinate our presence at conferences and more. This position will also be responsible for producing and coordinating information required for onsite programs, event marketing materials, digital images, advertisements, and other event-specific marketing needs
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain marketing events calendar throughout the year with regular updates with event dates, details, costs
- Schedule conferences and events with guidance from Marketing leadership
- Coordinate logistics of events with the Marketing and Business Development Team for presence and support materials
- Print, purchase and distribute critical goods to event venues for use in promotional activities
- Determine budget requirements and provide recommendations, as well as negotiate agreements with external vendors and partners as required, with guidance from marketing leadership and finance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, speakers, guests, partners, and vendors to create exceptional experiences and ensure overall event success
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute the promotional plan for optimal event awareness, registration, and engagement using appropriate channels such as social, email, advertising, and other creative tactics
- Put in place repeatable and scalable processes and templates that leverage best practices
- Stay up to date on regional and industry events that can maximize exposure with target audiences in innovative and cost-effective ways
- Collaborate with Business Development and other team leaders to confirm participation in marketing events
- Monitor and maintain the CRM system including an inventory of signed agreements and special details, while ensuring that the correct people are kept informed
- Respond to and delegate client inquiries to the appropriate team
- Send ongoing reminders to the Sales team to touch base with clients; proactively keep the team updated regarding clients on a regular basis
- Assist with prospective client research in preparation of meetings; prepare briefings, track conference participation, and other related tasks
- Perform regular updates of the Sales playbook, in addition to ensuring that the team follows through
- Maintain reporting for the Sales team, as well as Management & Leadership
- Manage & process client & partner invoicing in coordination with the Accounting team
- Provide operational support to other teams as required
- Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, especially event coordination
- Experience in event planning for B2B conferences
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Administrative experience with CRMs
- Previous startup or gaming experience preferred
- Intermediate-to-advanced level of understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment, bearing high levels of responsibility and accountability while keeping the best interests of the business in sight.
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of personal conduct in performing all duties.
- Ability to build a working relationship with employees, managers, and the leadership team based on respect and good rapport.
- Possess excellent organization and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adjust to working routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and the expectations of customers.
- Willingness to travel 10% or more (including internationally) to help coordinate events on-site
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for open, honest, and consistent communication.
- Cognitive skills include the ability to learn, process thoughts and apply knowledge, analyze and reason, and evaluate and make appropriate decisions to achieve business goals and solve problems
