Overview:
Vineyard Vines is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A who will support the development and execution of the Wholesale growth strategy. This position supports the Wholesale leadership team in developing the long range plan, budget and P&L forecasts to achieve the business goals. This is also the key finance support for Corporate payroll and for the HR and Legal teams.
You Will:
- Partner with the Wholesale Leadership team to develop the Long Range Plan and Annual Budgets to deliver significant market share growth and profit expansion
- Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis process for the Wholesale channel including accurate sales and margin projections, managing expenses, and delivering the full year sales and earnings budget.
- Create monthly sales & margin budgets and forecasts that are activity based, informed by customer insights, marketing initiatives and product assortment and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive profitable sales growth
- Develop and analyze P&L results and projections, identifying financial risks and mitigation plans as well as insights for opportunities
- Ensure that an effective Financial process is in place to support and maximize new initiatives
- Work closely with the HR team to provide accurate corporate headcount forecasts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to highlight changes to headcount and payroll, with quantification of the various building blocks (headcount change, avg pay change, taxes & incentives, etc, while quantifying and highlighting the offsetting benefit
- Lead the FP&A process with the HR and Legal teams to manage their expenses
- Provide consistent feedback and keep senior management updated through proactive monitoring of data, KPIs and key issues
- Provide insightful consolidated full Company financial reporting
- Provide oversight for one direct report, Senior Financial Analyst
- Deliver the Wholesale P&L sales and earnings budget
- Identify opportunities to drive profitable sales growth
- Identify opportunities to drive improved profitability leverage
- Support the HR team to monitor HQ payroll trends and accurately forecast the expense
What You Bring:
- Able to deliver results through cross functional partnership and influence
- Demonstrated ability to develop insights by combining data analytical skills with business knowledge
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and translate key takeaways to leadership and partners
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, able to multi task and take initiative
- Must be very proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment
- 5-7 years of experience in Retail, CPG, Corporate Finance, or related fields
