Description:The Senior Manager of FP&A leads the monthly management reporting, global budgeting, forecasting, medium term financial planning, financial modeling activities and ad hoc reports for all business areas within the company. This individual will be the trusted financial partners for all internal business leaders. You will bring fresh insights, a business mindset and help us scale more efficiently to support the functional areas. You'll Make a Difference by
- Working closely with the CFO, the finance team and the broader leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial plan
- Lead and execute on an efficient budgeting and forecasting processes which while capturing the inputs of various stakeholders drive for achieving company goals.
- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance and enable an effective communication of the same to senior leadership and investors
- Partner with other business leaders to help them understand monthly P&L results, identify gaps, and identify areas of improvement
- Own the system and processes by which revenue and costs are assigned and allocated and how information is presented to assist others with gaining actionable insights from our financial reporting.
- Manage the capital expenditure planning and reporting process for ROI / DCF analysis, approvals and tracking of it
- Work closely with Business FP&A and business units to drive margins expansion, and HR for FTE and Commission effectiveness
- Develop the FP&A team members as the business grows.
- Work with department heads to inform, plan, and manage their cost center budgets and actual expenses. A business partner to COO, CHRO and other functional leaders.
- Design, Develop, and operate a highly robust automated self-service financial reporting and KPI system to provide management with forecast insights, performance metrics and financial analytics for improved organizational decision-making.
- Work with the CFO, other leaders in the finance team to ensure data integrity and consistency in data across the company.
- Partner with accounting, our business intelligence team, the timeliness and availably of internal reporting.

About You
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience with modern ERP system (i.e. SAP) and manufacturing industries is highly desirable
- Expert Excel experience required
- FP&A software experience highly preferred
- 5+ years of related experience
- Team player
- Self-motivated with high bias for action and accountability.
- Naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to synthesize, organize and maintain large amounts of data.
- Proficient in cash flow, balance sheet, income statement preparation and interpretation with a good understanding of general accounting principles (US GAAP).
- Very detail-oriented and accurate
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to influence, motivate and build high-performing teams
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the work done to support all internal teams

Gentex’s Carbondale facility is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania in Lackawanna County. Carbondale, PA is about twenty miles north of Scranton, PA, 50 miles south of Binghamton, NY, and about 125 miles from New York City and Philadelphia. The area hosts numerous nearby state parks, nature preserves and local colleges and universities, including The University of Scranton and Marywood University.
