The Opportunity

Awesome opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who will provide expertise to assure compute and compliance to our end point workstation devices globally to maintain high performance and stability for our end user while minimizing impact to user experience and risk to our business.

This position supports Infrastructure Engineering at QVC US, HSN, and QVC International.

What You’ll Do

• Support & Troubleshooting – Provide 3rd level support and troubleshooting for issues escalated from more junior engineers on installed technical solutions; Lead or participate in SWAT teams involving mission critical applications.

• Performance & Tuning – Implement recommendations to ensure optimal performance and reliability for mission critical and global enterprise systems.

• Provisioning – Direct and implement infrastructure per prescribe specifications; Develop automation of the provisioning

• Design – Work independently to design environments of increasing complexity and scope; Contribute to design specifications for cross system environments; Provide guidance to the Architecture TRM and Guardrails within the technical expertise

• Capacity Planning – Review and recommend capacity, usage, and performance of assigned technologies for core enterprise system based on business metrics

• Technology Recommendation – Lead in the evaluation of new technologies relative to their domain(s) and makes strategic recommendation

What you Bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, large or enterprise environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or a combination of education and experience

• Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Global SCCM Environment)

  • Experience in Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager Console

  • Experience in Software Updates/Patch Management via SCCM/WSUS etc.

  • Application Packaging and Deployment

• Group Policy Management

• HP Device Manager (Thin Client Management)

• Vulnerability Management & Remediation

• Scripting – PowerShell, Command Line

• Experience with Ticketing Systems, ServiceNow preferred

• Azure AD and Hybrid Azure AD Join

• Implementation and Support of Cloud Management Gateway

• Enablement Knowledge of Co-Management and Auto-pilot

• Knowledge and experience in Windows Modern Desktop Management in an Enterprise environment

• Experience in Azure MFA

• Knowledge in CrowdStrike

• MCSE Mobility preferred

• Microsoft 365 Certified – Modern Desktop Administrator Associate and/or

• Microsoft 365 Certified – Enterprise Administrator Expert, preferred
