Job Summary

Senior Global Product Manager, Fluid Intelligence (FI) is accountable to develop differentiated Fluid Intelligence Offer. You will be responsible to develop the next generation Fluid Intelligence offering in close coordination with strategy, technology, engineering, IT, and regional commercial leaders. This position will also be responsible to articulate customer value and monetize this value for QH by different pricing mechanisms.

What will you do

  • Develop the FI Product Offering that brings unique and differentiated customer value
  • Lead business development opportunity identification (targeting) in concert with regional fluid intelligence teams
  • Communicate technical specification, features, needs, etc., for development with CTO & engineering organization. Will hold regular cadence meetings to liaise on technical development needs and field performance for new offerings
  • Develop field testing protocol and DOE assessment for industry specific offerings
  • Pursue segmentation, targeting positioning to identify the right segments, target the right customers and opportunities. Work closely to give and get guidance with the regional teams. Information will be used to develop industry specific and unique, value-added measure/control/optimize (MCO) offerings
  • Help with conducting VOC with regional teams, assess customer needs, translate to CTQs (Critical to Quality) communicate with commercial and technical community, work closely with technology and engineering teams to develop the offer that meets customer requirements
  • Lead the Value Proposition Development work (based on VOC, segmentation, needs assessment). The value prop must be clear, differentiating and as such translate the customer benefits into monetary gain for our customers. This work will be done with cross functional team as well as with regional team engagement and input
  • Lead the competitive tracking workstream – identify key competitors, establish MOS around tracking. Engage and educate the global team. Attend trade shows to keep an eye for competitive technologies
  • Work with the engineering and technology team around sourcing strategies – assess what is needed and align with sourcing organization around right sourcing approach
  • Work closely with the IT organization and leadership around ensuring the IT piece of our offer delivers to the customer promise (e.g., dashboards, apps, cloud connectivity etc)
  • Develop sales kits (BD deck, training materials, product introduction, case studies..) and promote/launch FI solutions internally and externally
  • Train the regional and cross functional teams around the stage gate process of development. Ensure the teams follow the process to develop new customer offering

What do we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Engineering, Technology or Business is a plus; MBA preferred
  • 7 years of industrial field experience is required, technology, commercial, product management, project management
  • B2B Manufacturing or Digital Experience is preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Industry specific application and product technology knowledge with an eye to emerging trends
  • Experience and the ability to manage P&L and budgets having an understanding of key levers that drive revenue and costs
  • Commercialization acumen – from needs assessment, to segmentation, value prop, pricing, channel. Basic marketing principles and skill
  • Global business experience
  • Ability to travel 25%
