We are seeking a self-driven, passionate, and talented Frontend Software Engineer who is eager to expand their knowledge in modern frontend technologies and is passionate about helping make the world a better place. As a Frontend Engineer at Curriculum Associates, you will be part of a high-performing team that is designing and building our student experience and working with many other teams to insure an optimized experience when launching and playing lessons, games, and other activities.



The impact you’ll have:

  • Develop and maintain our Student Dashboard, e-Reader, and Student Bookshelf experience.

  • Spend time resolving interesting problems, from security, through performance and usability just to name a few

  • Be part of our newest projects and initiatives.

  • Follow and evolve our coding best practices - Unit testing, design/code reviews, code coverage, documentation etc.

  • Work effectively as part of a Lean Agile team.

  • Bring new and innovative solutions to the table to resolve complex software issues as they may develop throughout the product life cycle.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to show experience in designing and developing front end, highly engaging software solutions.

  • Self-driven individuals who are eager to grow their knowledge of frontend technologies. .

  • Strong Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React, Redux, CSS.

  • Experience with Testing and Automation methodologies such as Puppeteer and Jest.

  • Experience with CI, Node, NPM, Webpack.

  • Experience working with the Agile methodology.

We’d also love to see, though not required:

  • Experience with developing web apps for iOS

  • Experience working in the world of open-source projects

  • Educational or ed-tech background
