The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will be a key member of the Corporate FP&A team within Zep’s Finance organization. The SFA will be responsible for assisting in consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting at the total company level and partnering with business leaders in the shared services organization to ensure financial objectives are achieved. The SFA will work closely within the finance team and cross functionally to effectively communicate enterprise performance to help inform decisions that enable the business to meet its financial expectations. The role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, is eager to learn, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. The SFA will report to the Director of Finance – Corporate FP&A with exposure to the Zep senior leadership team.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

Play a key role in driving successful enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across the business units and shared services functions.

Prepare standard daily and monthly reporting for the FP&A team which also supports and informs the CFO and Private Equity Investors.

Provide high level analysis of monthly performance versus budget or forecast and prior year.

Utilize SAP, Planful, Business Objects and other databases to obtain information critical to managerial analysis.

Act as a strategic business partner to the shared services department leaders and finance organization to ensure the company’s financial objectives are met.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure key expenses are booked correctly.

Partner with Human Resources to produce accurate monthly headcount reporting by business unit and function.

Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

4-6 years of experience in financial analysis

High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Experience with SAP, Planful, Business Objects, and Workday

Analytical and possesses a strong attention to detail
