We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst focused on the FP&A function. In this role, you will lead or assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of key financial and business reports, and will be an integral, valued, and highly visible member of our Finance team providing critical insights used to support decision making at all levels of management.
This is a high impact role that requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative working style and the ability to execute with quality in a dynamic, evolving, and fast paced environment. Our ideal Udacian has a bias for action, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and can communicate complex information across all levels of the business.
What You'll Do
- Assist in driving corporate planning, analysis and reporting processes providing information and recommendations to inform key operational, strategic and executive decisions.
- Partner with Core Team Leadership and HR Business partners to deliver P/L analysis, drive the budget planning cycle, and reconcile/maintain headcount analysis.
- Serve as finance representative for many cross-functional project teams to establish KPIs, processes, and frameworks that increase our efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze forecast metrics, providing information for mid-course corrections and support dashboard development.
- Monitor and support the financial health of the business: Report on performance versus Plan and explain variances
Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Corporate Finance or FP&A
- Background supporting SaaS Sales/GTM functions, and familiarity with subscription sales model, ARR/ACV, and reporting on commissions/productivity strongly preferred
- Knowledge of statutory accounting principles and US GAAP preferred
- Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills
- Superior quantitative and analytical abilities
- Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at balancing attention to detail with swift execution
- Autonomous, self-starter
- Experience working for start-up companies a plus
- Experience with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, Tableau, or equivalent systems
- Experience working with data from HR/Applicant Tracking Systems (BambooHR, Greenhouse or equivalent systems)
While this is a remote role, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America on a full time basis
The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000- $120,000, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, participation in Udacity's equity plan, generous benefits, and $4k per year for external learning and development.
