Senior Engineer (Transportation) in our West Palm Beach, Florida, office - Senior Engineer (Transportation) with experience working in a collaborative team environment. Responsible for multifaceted engineering design tasks, project delivery, and interacting with clients and public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed design phases of engineering projects
• Obtain, negotiate, and deliver projects successfully in the public-sector transportation market
• Manage and take responsibility of technical work content produced by co-workers
• Prepare proposals and reports
• Develop presentations to prospective clients and project stakeholders, including responding to questions from internal and external audiences
• Facilitate collaborative teams, including informal mentorship of junior-level staff

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of technical experience in transportation design
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering license required
• FDOT experience preferred
• Proficiency with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating design phases of transportation projects
• Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, GEOPAK, 3D corridor modelling
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products
• Experience with client interaction, with demonstrated success in client relationships and client development
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, energetic, and cooperative attitude with customers and internal staff
• Prior Engineering Consulting experience a plus
