Senior Electrical Engineer
Leesburg, Virginia (Hybrid); Charlotte, North Carolina (Remote)

Responsibilities: In This Role, You Will
- Develop electrical plans and specifications for medium to large sized projects
- Perform design tasks including lighting layouts, photometrics, power distribution design, controls for refrigeration, general power design and fire alarm systems
- Design systems in accordance with the NEC, NFPA and IECC
- Design projects from conceptual design to completion
- Perform site investigations to obtain information on existing conditions
- Perform energy models for LEED projects
Qualifications: You will be a great fit if you have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States
- 5 years of progressive technical experience and diversified knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices to analyze distribution systems and design lighting systems and buildings’ specialty systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, IECC and other industry codes
- Consulting engineering experience in the commercial, institutional, and retail markets
- Experience in working with architects, building owners, and utility companies
- Proficiency with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects
- Experience in reviewing, managing and responsibility for technical work content produced by co-workers
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
