The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Mastercard’s Data & Services Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, backup and support of multiple on-premise and cloud hosted data centers. Responsibilities:
Provide CI/CD pipelines for Production & Staging Kubernetes environment, leveraging Rancher and Azure Kubernetes (AKS) Services
Support the tooling of infra-as-code to enable teams to rapidly provision infrastructure
Deploy and manage virtual Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers, running in Azure
Manage our existing infrastructure-as-code stack including Ansible, Terraform and Packer, along with our workflows utilizing Jenkins and Kubernetes
Work on simplifying system deployment and configuration, with emphasis on everything-as-code, GitOps, and declarative code
Document commonly encountered issues and create documentation on newly implemented systems using various Atlassian products
Participate in on call rotations, responding to after-hours incidents in a timely manner
About You:
Strong desire and prior experience automating common tasks
Competency using industry standard automation/scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc)
Experience deploying, administering and managing Azure hosted resources
Experience managing and deploying Rancher, Istio, Kafka, & Databricks
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Jupyter
Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Products (Active Directory, Windows Server. SQL Server, etc)
Background on cloud native tooling and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
Adept at working within both Linux and Windows Server environments, including knowledge of Active Directory and Linux administration
Proven ability to communicate with team members effectively
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
Understanding of working in an agile team environment
Proven ability to build trust and partnership with stakeholders
