Position Summary
This individual will oversee the management of global leave, accommodation and workers compensation programs including administration, employee communications and process documentation.
- Assist with statistical and financial analysis of global leave programs, including standardization of metrics and development of key dashboards
- Manage global leave and accommodation compliance requirements with a strong understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Act as liaison between internal functional teams (for example, HR Operations, Workday technical support team, Payroll) to effectively support, administer and manage program changes
- Assist employee relations with escalated leave and accommodation scenarios
- Manage vendor relationship and vendor integrations
- Respond to employee, HR and payroll inquiries regarding these programs
- Assist with other processes and projects as needed
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
- Huron requires a bachelor’s degree in a field related to this position and 2-5 years minimum relevant experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across team members and departments
- Strong technical skills, including Workday, is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Strong quantitative and Excel skills
- Strong Understanding of Federal, State and Local Compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with employees, human resources, managers and leadership
- Ability to identify process improvements to achieve efficiencies and team success
- Human Resources-related experience specifically with managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with IRS and DOL rules and regulations
