Location:

Under supervision of Program Director – ADHC, assists in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care, including eating, dressing, toileting, and transferring, and assistance in assigned program activities.

Employment Requirements:

Ability to:

• Orally communicate clearly and concisely;
• Use tact and discretion in dealing with clients;
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and motivate clients;
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and other staff;
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Current CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire; TB test and (physical exam) medical clearance required upon hire. TB clearance to be maintained every four (4) years. Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations. Must be willing to complete on site, program administered RADID COVID-19 testing 2x/week.

Qualifications:

Experience and Training:

A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from a high school or G.E.D. equivalent; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Provides support and assistance to participants with eating, toileting, and transferring;
• Assists clients in use of exercise equipment as needed;
• Works with clients to help them improve their motor skills in arts and crafts programs;
• Prepare and serve am/pm snack and lunch;
• Provides general program support;
• Provides back-up maintenance and custodial support;
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
