Senior Accountant - 100% Remote For DMV Candidates Only!

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• General ledger including journal entries and reconciliations
• Overseeing AR, managing collections and doing analysis
• Financial reporting assisting in developing and analyzing financial reports
• Supporting unrestricted accounting needs such as budgeting, reporting, and various analysis and ah-hoc request
• Responsible for the financial monitoring of entire revenue contracts portfolio as well as supervising the processing all aspects of account receivable for the organization
• Prepares monthly revenue contract analysis

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant :

• Must have college degree and 4+ years’ experience
• Must be vaccinated for Covid
• General ledger experience – journal entries and reconciliations
• AR Experience – overseeing AR, managing collections and doing analysis
• Financial reporting experience - Experience with assisting in developing and analyzing financial reports
• Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with pivot tables required
• Experience working in international nonprofit with field offices preferred
• Knowledge of Intacct accounting software preferred but not required
• Knowledge of accounting for Federal grants is a plus
• Knowledge of Association Management Software a plus
