Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly financial close process (week long process) and issuing financial statements to management.
• Work closely with other accounting team members throughout the month to assist in day to day activities.
• Review information provided by Staff Accountants, Accounts Payable department, Accounts Receivable department, and Fixed Assets Accountants. (bank reconciliations, AP and AR reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, fixed asset roll forwards, journal entries, etc).
• Compile audit requests in the interim and at year end. Put together audit financial statement draft.
• Responsible for bank and internal annual forecasting. (typically performed in Q4 of the prior year)
• Take part in monthly cost meetings with management.
• Assist offsite managers as problems and questions arise. Be able to communicate new processes or procedures that other locations need to follow.
• Analyze quarterly financials for the CFO for Board Meetings.
• Work on ad hoc projects for management
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for pricing decisions and sales contract negotiations

Requirements

• Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Large company audit experience or progression in company
• Certified Public Accountant license, MBA or MAcc preferred
• 3+ years experience public accounting or 5+ years in industry
• Proficient in Excel
• Well organized with ability to prioritize
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem solving ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
