SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own monthly close activities including preparation of accruals, amortizations, and revenue recognition entries
  • Maintain all appropriate Balance Sheet schedules and support throughout the year
  • Analyze and report on various general ledger accounts
  • Collaborate with key teams including AP, Operations, HR, and IT to resolve issues and streamline workflows
  • Ensure data integrity by reconciling third party platforms to ERP
  • Identify and implement best practices to support fiscal management and controls
  • Assist with special projects as needed - e.g. analyze and track profitability of international business locations; analyze gross margin by comparing to budget and understanding areas of opportunity for improvement

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years experience, CPG knowledge a plus
  • Computer Skills: NetSuite experience preferred
  • Certificates, Licenses, registrations: CPA desired
  • Travel Requirements: None
  • Education: Bachelors Degree


Job Details:

  • Location: Milford, CT - (Option to work remote three days a week)
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience - Base salary, commission, and opportunities for performance bonuses.
