HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event on

Thursday 1/26/2023 from 3 pm-7 pm.

Meet with Hiring Managers for various Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officer andSecurity Command Center Operator positions in the Malta, NY area. Sunstates offers weekly pay with a pay rate dependent on post, position, and veteran status. See below.

• Pay Rate is $20 per hour for Security Officers, $21.50 per hour for Veterans

Job Descriptions:

Security Command Center Operators Key Duties

• Security Command Center operates 24 x 7
• Emergency call taking and dispatch
• Respond to critical system alerts immediately and provide communication to management team
• Document all alerts for tracking and group distribution notification
• Utilize access control system and monitor facility
• Monitor all systems and create accurate documentation
• Maintain the security of confidential information and data
• Monitor video surveillance system
• Dispatch security officers, responders, or facilities staff to specific incidents
• Interface directly with emergency responders
• Maintain key systems
• Perform camera inspections during the shift of interior and exterior
• Communicate with senior corporate leaders all incidents affecting site population and systems
• Maintain site wide radio communications
• Provide direction to the security team as required
• Conduct Security internal audits in accordance with SOP to confirm equipment is operating properly
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Security Command Center Operators Job Requirements

• Valid NY State Security Guard License or ability to secure one without impediment
• Experience in IT, Security, or infrastructure control centers
• Emergency call taking and dispatch experience a plus
• Ability to learn and interact with existing and new technologies
• Excel in a fast-paced environment
• Vaccine Required
• Military, law enforcement or IT security experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Advanced experience with access control platforms
• Advanced experience with video surveillance systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems
• Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of Incident Command system
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision

Security Officer Key Duties

• Security Officer coverage operates 24 x 7
• Provide access control
• Provide an excellent customer service experience
• Check in visitors and contractors into facility
• Check in deliveries properly
• Conduct security patrols on foot
• Conduct security patrols in a security vehicle
• Contact security management regarding any incidents on site
• Response to any emergencies
• Complete incident reports
• Monitor property for safety
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as walk
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to lift 30lbs.

Security Officer Job Requirements

• Valid NY State Security Guard License or ability to secure one without impediment
• Vaccine Required
• Military, law enforcement or security experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Able to conduct foot patrols and vehicle patrols

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
