Duties:

• Security officer roles include but are not limited to screening patients and visitors, patrols of hospital grounds and operating the front desk and switchboard for the hospital.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premise

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a security guard or relevant experience
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity, sharp and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Has the ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background
