Overton Security is searching for Professional Security Officers to be a part of our team. We are currently hiring for full time graveyard positions with weekend availability, and weekend day and and swing shift positions. Open availability a plus.

Must have excellent customer service skills, friendly attitude and clean and professional appearance.

As an Overton Professional Security Officer you will be a part of a results oriented team responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all our serviced properties. It is expected that you will demonstrate behavior consistent with Overton Security core value of serving, protecting and caring.

As a Professional Security Officer you must:

• Assure the protection of the personnel and property of the Client.
• Assure that reasonable measures are taken to prevent crimes, incidents or offenses before they happen.
• Routinely patrol the property's premises on foot, or using designated vehicle, to prevent and detect signs of suspicious activity, safety hazards, or irregularities.
• Provide accurate and detailed observations and write clear concise reports of daily activities, incidents including Priority issues, and maintenance issues.
• Always be courteous, and customer oriented, providing support to persons whenever possible.
• Uphold and maintain the confidentiality of privileged information acquired during the course of your duty at all times.
• Be ready, willing and capable to undertake all responsibilities of the site expectations.

Qualified applicants for Corporate Security Officer Positions must meet the minimum requirements as described below:

• High school diploma or GED
• Have a current BSIS Guard Card
• Must have a valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Have excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Be computer savvy and have the ability to utilize innovative, wireless technology
• Have flexible and weekend availability
• Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
• Must have a neat and professional appearance
