Job description
ISN is seeking a Word Processor I to support the HUD Sec-Held Contract by fulfilling the duties below:
- Protects the privacy of sensitive information by ensuring only authorized parties are provided access to confidential loan information.
- Provides support for ISN’s document management systems by assisting with related procedures that allow ISN to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents and requires a knowledge of loan documentation.
- Processes incoming/outgoing mail, imaging documents, and/or properly storing mortgage-related documents for the effective servicing of mortgage loans
- Follows procedures, while providing support, as needed, with audits and other loan servicing functions, and adhere to company, investor and insurer guidelines.
- Works independently or with a group in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines
- Builds strong relationships with coworkers for the creation of a positive, collaborative working environment and the preservation of high morale.
- Exercises good judgment with the application of ISN and client policies/procedures/requirements as they relate to Document Management-related tasks and other inquiries.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Document Management duties to include lifting, sorting, and tracking mortgage documents. The position requires the specialist to process mail, prep/scan/index/file Partial Claim notes and Partial Claim mortgages for loans insured by HUD.
