Job Summary:

This position delivers ice to customers in vehicles that do not require a commercial driver’s license. The route driver is assigned a specific geographic region and/or route to service. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.

Education & Experience Required:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must possess a minimum of an operator’s driver’s license and at least two years of driving experience
• Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards

Education & Experience Preferred:

• Minimum of two years of previous local delivery driver experience

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
