Carpentry Mechanic
StuyTown Property Services is responsible for taking care of the almost 28,000 residents that live in our community on the East River between 14th St. and 23rd St.

We are looking for someone to become a member of our Carpentry Shop in the role of Carpentry Mechanic. If you are interested supporting the Carpentry Foremen and their team maintain Stuytown and Peter Cooper Village, then maybe you should work here.

What you will do:
- Repair and replacement of all windows and glass.
- Wall construction, metal and or wood construction.
- Shelving fabrication, repair and installation.
- Wood flooring removal, repair and installation.
- Repair/replacement of linoleum floors and counter tops.
- Kitchen, laundry room and bathroom cabinetry repair and / or replacement.
- Additional duties may be assigned by your Supervisor.
What you should have:
- 3-5+ years is of trade experience in similar work required.
- Trade school graduation or equivalent education is a plus.
- Some computer skills necessary to manage work order system.
- Able to multi-task under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Weekends or overtime required on occasion

Base Salary: $23.22
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience & location.
