Laitram Machinery has a need for a seafood processor to inspect, package and label raw materials converting them to frozen, packaged, finished materials.

Responsibilities:
- Convert raw materials into frozen packaged finished materials using Laitram seafood processing equipment
- Label and move totes of product around the plant
- Inspect product throughout the process removing defects to meet established quality guidelines
- Handling raw and finished seafood product packages
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including but not limited to spraying and scrubbing of process equipment, wiping down of walls, mopping, sweeping and trash collection and removal
- Follow the attendance policy of the department
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent seafood processing experience
- Able to work shifts starting at 5am
- Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Must be a team player, committed to working in an environment of continuous improvement
- Dependable and punctual
- Must be able to understand basic English
- It is essential that this position be performed at the facility
- Ability to work as scheduled, including overtime and weekends as required
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 50 lbs
