About the Role:

#TeamQuore is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to build our cutting-edge application for the hospitality industry. Day-to-day, the scrum master will communicate, coordinate, and facilitate to help the team deliver what they’ve committed to. Working closely with product owners, the scrum master will ensure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope.

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a servant leader and Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and mentor team members and others in the organization of the best scrum processes
• Remove impediments to the scrum teams quickly so that productivity and morale do not suffer
• Work closely with the development, product, and leadership teams to ensure the success of the scrum teams
• Foster an Agile culture and fine-tune processes to meet the needs of the team, the stakeholders, and the business
• Analyze and report on project metrics, e.g., story points burned vs. points estimated, project progress, risk, and issues
• Create and deliver presentations on team progress, goals, and roadmaps

What you’ll need for this position:

• Strong understanding of the Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment with multiple and shifting priorities
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Proficiency in conflict management and resolution
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate across business and technology
• 3+ years of experience working on a scrum team, preferably as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field preferred

And it’d be a bonus if you have:

• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Master Business Administration (MBA)
• Hotel industry experience
