We are looking to fill several Scientist 1 or 2 - Bioassay Development positions working as a full-time employee of ExecuPharm / Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor multiple mammalian cell lines
• Perform cell-based potency assays
• Prepare solutions and culture media
• Perform routine lab maintenance and equipment cleaning
• Troubleshooting cell lines
• Maintain records and test results following good documentation practices
• Work independently and efficiently
• Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
• Communicate effectively with client staff members

Qualifications

• Scientist 1 - Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related field with < 1 year of relevant experience
• Scientist 2 - Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Skills and Experience

• At least six months of related laboratory experience with aseptic and cell culture techniques
• General laboratory skills and experience with pipettes
• Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Desired Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise with GXP compliance, documentation, technical writing (procedures and policies) is a plus
