Position: Secretary

Reports to: Principal of Upper School

Salary Range: DOE

Working Hours: Full-Time

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma, associate’s degree preferred
• Experience Required: Office management experience required
• Certification: First Aid/CPR preferred
• Ability to uphold FERPA in relation to all student information
• A desire to uphold the mission and vision of Athlos Academy and maintain an attitude of positivity

Job Duties:

• Greet and welcome all visitors and parents to Athlos Academy.
• Ensure all visitors are checked in and have completed a background check.
• Answer and transfer phone calls.
• Complete general office tasks: photo copying, collating, word processing, faxing, creating forms, filing, ordering, organizing, copy/mailing documents.
• Act as a liaison between the school and the community when serving the public in the office.

Job Safety & Physical Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to speak, hear and see up close, in color, and in distance as well as peripherally and with depth perception
• Demonstrated ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and grab as well as ability to Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to complete any other incidental physical requirements that come with the job.
