Job Description:
Procare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for a contract position in Prince Frederick, MD. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to conduct assessments, provide interventions, and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral concerns.
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support students' educational and behavioral goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and strategies to address students' needs.
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for students' special education eligibility and services.
Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges that may impact their learning.
Consult with teachers and other professionals to enhance students' academic and social-emotional success.

Qualifications:
Must hold a current Maryland State Licensure in School Psychology.
Must have a master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Previous experience working in a school setting and familiarity with special education laws and regulations are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
