StarChild Academy seeks individuals with the experience, training, and characteristics outlined below to serve as School Directors. These critical positions have a direct impact on the success of our schools.
- Must be customer driven … proud of a job well done, and always striving to exceed expectations.
- Loves working with children.
- Has a Director’s Credential and a CDA (or its equivalent).
- Has previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Has been successful in working with a large number of children and parents.
- Able to get along well with others … and accept criticism graciously.
- Must be a great motivator who can retain an enthusiastic teaching staff.
- Able to inspect to ensure that the staff is properly implementing and teaching pre-established lesson plans.
- Knows when and is willing to step in whenever necessary to get the job done.
- Able to work the hours necessary to do the right job.
- Must have the organizational skills to ensure compliance with the Department of Children & Families’ rules and regulations and StarChild Academy’s policies and procedures for operating a school and maintaining a properly trained staff.
