MoveDocs is in immediate need for a full time Scheduling Assistant to provide excellent customer service to our clients. This role is responsible for communicating with medical facilities and attorneys. The qualified candidate must be able to gather, analyze, and research documents while managing a high-volume case load. You must be able to multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail and possess good time management skills. Excellent organizational, writing and communications skills are essential for success in this position. We’re looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is able to efficiently prioritize tasks to ensure customer satisfaction.
This position is based in our Las Vegas, Nevada office.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with treating facilities including receiving recommendations and facilitating scheduling treatments
- Shares relevant patient case information with representing attorneys
- Communicates with clients (patients) as needed
- Makes outbound calls and answers inboundcalls from medical providers and attorneys to obtain status and updates on cases in high-volume call environment
- Drafts correspondence including letters, emails and faxes as required
- Delivers customer satisfaction through timely, accurate communications and customer-first perspective with ability to be empathetic to our clients and their needs
- Develop rapport with the attorneys, firms and medical providers
- Works autonomously and as part of a team, assisting team members as needed
Requirements:
- High School or GED required
- 2 years of personal injury experience and claims, medical records or medical terminology, or medial lien knowledge preferred
- Experience as a legal assistant, case manager or referral coordinator in a medical office is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Previous, customer service experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle interactions with attorneys and medical providers
- Ability to adapt to change and pivot easily between tasks
- Open to learning new skills and tasks
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook with ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm
