Position Overview

Provide leadership, Supervise and Coordinate Employees engaged in Sanitation and warewash area. Maintains clear and un-interrupted lines of communications with Department Supervisor and Department Leads.

Primary Responsibilities

In conjunction with responsible staff, the Sanitation Supervisor will develop and implement Employee schedules; service standards which effectively, safely and economically meet internal department expectations.

  • Ensure all equipment is washed according to the needs of the Food Production and Equipment Assembly;
  • Insure strict adherence to established timelines, ware washing, equipment delivery and heavy equipment availability;
  • Properly schedule all the Sanitation porters to ensure the facility is properly clean;
  • Establish and monitor activity progress, through on going communication with Supervisors and department leads.
  • Develop a post activity plan, identifying specific assignments.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of employee assignments analyzing schedule for possible adjustments as maybe required to support the demand of production.
  • Review and evaluate department, recommend and implement changes as appropriate to maintain satisfaction and operational safety.
  • Familiarize workers with company policies including possible penalties for failure to comply, including strict enforcement of Hacor Dress code (uniform, appearance and hygiene) code.
  • Enforce compliance of established policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations, including but not limited to the following: OSHA, HACCP, USDA, FDA and accident prevention. First point of contact for USDA officer’s visit.
  • Establishes and monitors training of personnel working within area of supervision. Performs evaluations to assist in measuring the success of the training and ultimately the fit of the employee in current position.
  • Oversee Chemical and Equipment usage to ensure no shortages at the last minute.

Administrative Activities and Responsibilities basic requiremenst:

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Read and write English, Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Lead by example
  • Knowlegable with all the different cleaning chemicals in the industry.
  • Some occupational knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
