Position Summary

As a Quick Serve Food Attendant, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience that conveys value and quality with exceptional hospitality. You will build food items and make coffee-based beverages in line with company standards and expectations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

· Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures

· Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

· Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments

· Follows standardized recipes to ensure accuracy with food orders

· Manage high volume orders efficiently

· Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and adhering to coffee recipes

· Responds to customers’ needs and says thank you to every customer

· Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner

· Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures

· Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment

· Unload delivery orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.

· Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

· Perform other job-related duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment

· Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers and beverage machines

· Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations

· Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems

· Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks

· Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

Minimum Requirements

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Preferred

• One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant

• One (1) year of experience of guest service experience

• Experience working in a similar resort setting
