Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created team with opportunity to grow and develop a go forward strategy new to the organization.

The Sales Support Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that the sales team has the opportunity to remain focused on selling by providing outstanding customer service and support. Responsibilities of the Specialist will include customer support, data mining & analytics, and the use of several tools in support of those initiatives. It is imperative that the Specialist works closely with the sales team members and various other departments to increase sales performance and ultimately drive revenue.

The position will be focused on Midea owned brand lines, namely, Midea, Toshiba, Pelonis, and Eureka. The position will be multi-category: Home Comfort, Home Appliances, Small Appliances & Floorcare.

This position will report to the Senior Sales Operations Manager.

Salary: $60k-$80k

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key contacts in assigned customer accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company team members, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide sales analysis reports by Customer and Category work on account administration, including item set-up, program, rebates, etc
  • Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to function with ambiguity and be comfortable with asking questions to push the status quo and strive for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • At least four years of marketing, sales, or customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced Excel, Ability to navigate multiple systems, MS Office a must
  • Customer service orientation with a robust problem-solving approach.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consumer Products Sales
  • Appliance Sales experience
