Design Group is recruiting for a Sales Representative. This position works remotely and reports directly to the Sales Manager for our Lion Ribbon division.

WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?
We will look to you to increase sales in assigned territories, source new business opportunities, and serve customer needs through creative consultation and marketing of products. You will be responsible for independently managing a book of business, developing lead generation plans, and meeting or exceeding established targets. You will provide pricing and work with internal pricing and customer service teams to answer customer questions as needed. This position involves occasional, as needed travel to prospect new business and service active customers as well as attend trade shows as requested by management.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
You have a previous track record of over-achieving quota, the ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment, and a background making outbound calls or working in a call center with upselling experience. You have an Associate’s degree in a business or sales related field or equivalent on-the-job training coupled with experience working in a position that has afforded you the ability to carry out traditional selling techniques.

You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have exposure to a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or similar system. You are adept in customer service and are willing to travel if needed. Experience working with or knowledge of gift, craft, or floral products is a plus.
