About this opportunity

The Sales Operations BID Management Analyst also referred to internally as TCO / Benchmarking Analytics Specialist will lead the creation, all data collection, submission, and implementation of a TCO / Benchmarking Analytics tool to provide data analytics relative to all customer RFPs / Quotes.

The position and tool creation, implementation, and development will play a large and impactful role with helping DZS understand on how they benchmark and operate against other national and global competitors in hyper-broadband solutions across fiber, copper, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks.

You will have a large impact in advancing DZS to have complete visibility to our commercial terms, pricing, etc. against our competitors to the next level with end-to-end vendor agnostic network automation for broadband access, mobile, optical and subscriber edge.

What you will do (Responsibilities)

• Perform competitive benchmarking
• Provide weekly updates on DZS's competitive positioning (SWOT)
• Make actionable recommendations for closing relative performance gaps
• Develop, implement, and refine models for the effective and timely benchmarking of DZS competitors
• Collaborate and engage with the internal teams to develop, standardize, and track key performance indicators that enable meaningful and consistent performance comparisons
• Develop and implement reporting tools and performance management systems that enable relative performance tracking, generate actionable insights, and drive accountability

You will bring ( Qualifications )

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. 2 or more years of experience in Business Analytics required. 4 or more years in Telecommunications experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written skills that allows them to be integrated into work with DZS staff.
• Ability to develop key relationships
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare finance, management engineering or decision support experience
• Ability to evaluate and analyze situations with data analytics.
• Passionate about using data to inform decision making and possess the curiosity to research and solve complex problems involving data and business analytics.
• A quick learner who is willing to learn and work in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Possess analytical skills to conduct comparative analysis.
• Ability to gather rapport from management as part of the implementation of the TCO / Benchmarking Analytics tool.
• Self-starter, project management, data evangelist, data analytics experience and team player.
• Must be flexible and committed to teamwork and continuous leaning
