Position Summary

Our expanding company is seeking to hire a sales operations associate to join our team. The sales operations associate’s responsibilities include performing sales administrative tasks, running sales reports, process improvement, developing/maintaining training material, and collaborating with other departments to optimize sales processes. This role is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain sales experience in the cannabis tax and accounting field. This role will report to the Global Operations Senior Manager. Successful candidates will have prior experience in sales, administrative support and/or project management.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining sales data, including but not limited to: collecting, organizing, and analyzing sales data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy.
  • Generate sales reports that provide insights into the sales team’s performance and sales pipeline.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that sales technologies, such as CRM systems, are working properly and being utilized effectively.
  • Assist in forecasting sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop training materials and provide training to sales team members on sales processes, systems, and tools.
  • Provide the sales team with the resources they need to be successful, including sales collateral, case studies, and other relevant materials.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as marketing and customer success, to ensure alignment and optimize sales efforts

We are looking for someone that has great communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong administrative skills to support our sales and marketing team. Required:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot a plus)
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends/patterns
  • Understanding of sales processes and strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role and the company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field a plus
  • Prior sales experience a plus
