Responsibilities

  • New business development i.e. creating new relationships that will bring increased business and revenues to the property.
  • Work daily on visiting and scheduling meetings with area companies/organizations in order to increase reservations and bookings for daily, weekly, and monthly stays. This includes but is not limited to outside sales calls, business lunches, market analysis by visiting and maintaining relationships with competing properties both hotels and other service residence providers.
  • Attend sales and client events to promote the AKA brand, which includes networking at Chamber of Commerce events, Hotel Association events, Travel industry events, Entertainment industry events and Mobility industry events.
  • Hosting and attending client events on and off-site.
  • Additional sales activities to include but not limited to sales blitzes, promotions to area businesses, telemarketing, trade shows, chamber events, and collaborating with the AKA marketing department.
  • Greet all incoming prospective residents and clients; provide AKA hospitality (tour the building, offer beverages, review availability).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three to four years of previous sales experience in the hotel industry.
  • Prior experience representing a luxury brand preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
