Job Summary

Position is responsible to lead all business activities for the Lowe’s account in the U.S. home appliance market. This role will be responsible for all aspects of Lowe’s account management in support of achieving the annual business plan. This leader will be able to articulate customer needs, identify new business opportunities both online and in-store, manager the annual program to drive profitable growth, and develop director reports on the account team. This leader will both lead strategy, foster relationships with Lowe’s, and effectively collaborate across Midea’s cross functional teams. This position is a player-coach role whereas the Director will own account management responsibilities with Lowe’s while also leading a team of national account managers. This position will report into the U.S. Head of Sales and will be tasked with re-energizing the business to accelerate growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, own and lead overall account sales strategies for the Lowe’s account
  • Monitor overall account performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop appropriate action plans.
  • Lead and coach the Lowe’s account team in day to day sales and marketing activities
  • Player-Coach: Own account management responsibilities for select customers and channel strategy while also leading a team of national account managers.
  • Proactively lead problem solving efforts via logical and persuasive communications while pursuing “win win” solutions
  • Collaborate with various Midea cross functional teams, including product management, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, and service, to meet account performance objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Achieve assigned KPI’s for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Closely collaborate with customers and Midea operations/supply management departments to provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum ten years of strategic sales experience managing high profile major accounts within the durable consumer products industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Major Home Appliance industry experience highly preferred

  • 10+ years in Sales or Marketing Functions, with 2+ years leading a national account or national account team.

  • Demonstrated success developing and growing sales within large key accounts

  • Work Environment: Office, may have to travel to warehouse. May have to lift 50 or less pounds

  • Travel: Up to 30%, Internationally & Domestic
