Role Summary

The Sales Director, Lab Services will be responsible for the growth of Anuvu’s market footprint by identifying and closing new business prospects as well as developing existing client relationships. The Sales Director’s knowledge of the Media & Entertainment industry and relevant verticals along with strong relationships with key industry players will be pivotal to impacting and meeting our aggressive expansion goals. This role works closely across functional teams to ensure maximum growth, highest client satisfaction, delivery of superior service and work product, and drive brand awareness.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop the sales strategy, project plans and forecasts, and execute to bring those goals to fruition and rapidly growing them on an aggressive timeline.
  • Partner with and align with internal Licensing team to target prospective Lab partners. Pitch and successfully close new business partners.
  • Develop ongoing budget planning, forecasting, and reporting on results to show progress against key objectives in growing the Lab Services business.
  • Work at both strategic and tactical levels with all other cross-functional teams (Licensing, Operations, Marketing, Business and Legal Affairs) to ensure alignment with growth and sales plans and successful onboard and execution of wins.
  • Provide ongoing strategic insights and recommendations on new avenues and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop, strengthen, and maintain key commercial relationships
  • Exemplify and role model the company core values and behaviors

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the Media & Entertainment industry
  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven track record of success within the M&E space
  • Excellent industry relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, executive engagement, and negotiation skills
  • Strong drive for results
  • Understanding of the current Media & Entertainment technology developments and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic, innovative, and fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated and proven ability to define and deliver innovative ideas to drive long term results
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
