About the Role

As a sales team member, you are the initial voice of A2X for merchants and accountants/bookkeepers (AB partners). We strive to provide helpful and friendly advice to our prospective customers… and we want these interactions to be amazing.

We initiate relationships with prospects and nurture them so that they become advocates for A2X as a service and brand - and lifelong customers! This requires relationship management, patience, communication skills, product knowledge, perseverance and passion.

What you’ll work on:

  • Manage inbound demand and followup with opportunities to convey A2X benefits
  • Perform product demos and handle any sales-related matters
  • Become an A2X and ecommerce accounting expert
  • Perform one-to-many webinars displaying the benefits of A2X and our Partner Program
  • Attend conferences to promote the A2X brand generate new business
  • Engage in outbound activities to generate new business

Key Required Skills:

  • Clear, convincing communication skills to customers and A2Xers (both verbal and written)
  • Impeccable time-management: Makes the most of every minute, triages high-priority tasks (e.g. lead-followup/billing/troubleshooting/etc.), responds to customer questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Self-starter: Takes initiative and ownership of projects. Loves the thrill of creating and executing against a large “To-do” list
  • Curiosity: A willingness to ask questions and learn/improve through feedback
  • Teamwork: Thrives in a team environment, willing to help others, and seek out help
  • Customer empathy: cares deeply about customers, their feedback, and their needs/questions
  • Integrity: Values A2X as a service, company, and brand. Does the right thing for customers and the company
  • Detail-orientation: Recognizes small details can make a big difference
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge

Nice to haves:

  • Previous sales experience and track record of exceeding quotas
  • Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
  • Deep product knowledge of A2X and ecommerce accounting
