• HIRING EVENT: GROUP INTERVIEW, 1/11, 2p - 4p at Auld Shebeen in Fairfax City.

• Base pay is $13 - $15 per hour plus incentives including sales commissions, customer tips, and the occasional AWESOME free lunch! :) Average sales associates should expect $15 - $18 per hour in total compensation when performing at a level of meets or exceeds expectations.
• Base pay is eligible for increases with completion of continued training, outstanding performance, and above-and-beyond teamwork.

The Sales Associate is an integral part of the daycare-first model of Dogtopia. The position will be expected to interact with pet parents in person and via phone, text, email and present and sell appropriate membership packages, so computer proficiency and interpersonal skills are required. The position must also be a good team player, requiring support of playroom activity such as dog meal and medicine preparation, facility cleaning, and assisting in the playrooms with the dogs in daycare. The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds is important. It also requires an appreciation for the importance of repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

ABOUT THE FRONT DESK ROLE:

• The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups and selling/upgrading enrollment plans.
• Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia.
• Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person
• Check pups in out of daycare
• Present daycare memberships to Pet Parents and gain the sale!
• Earn commission for each enrollment plan sold!!!
• Making sure pup's vaccines/health are current to Dogtopia policy.
• Creating report cards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
