The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate are to provide exceptional customer service to company standards and to be the key personnel in achieving company sales goals. Primary and secondary responsibilities are as follows.

• Act as a cashier for all special orders and items that require delivery or assembly
• Answer and take phone calls regarding stock availability, product receipts, customer orders, and other calls as

needed.

• Cashier as needed.
• Collaborates with other employees to work toward team and company goals.
• Demonstrates proficient functionality and usage of applicable Eagle applications and other store technology -

platforms.

• Ensure an adequate understanding of all products in the store and or demonstrate an ability to learn.
• Execute Opening and Closing duties to company standard.
• Fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a professional appearance while at work at all times.
• Other duties assigned by the assistant manager as necessary.
• Perform daily tasks to complete as assigned by supervisors.
• Performs pre-paid special orders for all customers as needed
• Performs S.A.L.E.S process with each customer.
• Performs store services as needed.
• Primarily responsible for taking phone orders and collecting payment.
• Professionally answer phone calls and use radios to communicate with appropriate associates.
• Responsibility for the store cleanliness
• Responsible for achieving sales goals per the budget of their assigned store.
• Responsible for completing continuing education certification courses applicable to their plan.
• Responsible for farming and developing B2B relationships for all business customers
• Responsible for knowing of and informing all customers of current promotions and events.
• Responsible for maintaining a customer request log via Excel spreadsheet entry
• Responsible for upholding LP measures.
• Responsible for using all inventory platforms to identify and locate product
• Stock product from all receipts to standard
• Utilize standardized safety measure when performing any and all job duties
• Water plants and perform other Gardening duties as needed
• Welcome all customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional way as they enter the store.
• Work in tandem with Merchandise associates to assist them with their workload.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the

business

• Ability to solve problems, work independently or with a team, and check the accuracy of work before reporting its

completion

• Education/Training: High School degree or equivalent
• Effective communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Experience in a retail environment
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus
• Knowledgeable of general retail policies and procedures
• Minimum of 1-year retail sales experience preferred
• Possesses extensive product knowledge of consumable products along with a willingness to learn
• Skills/Knowledge: Strong organizational skill

• A flexible work schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
• Climb stairs and ladders in a safe manner
