Ayoub, a family-owned and operated business since 1952, is looking for an upbeat individual who enjoys talking to customers and selling services over the phone, is a quick thinker, and loves to find solutions for our client's needs. This person must be highly detail-oriented, confident, a team player, receptive to critical feedback, and capable of communicating clearly and with a smile.

Ayoub specializes in area rug cleaning but also offers in-home services such as carpet, furniture, hardwood, and tile/grout cleaning. We also have a new flooring department where we sell and install carpet, hardwood, and luxury vinyl plank. There are two locations to shop for new flooring or to drop off a rug for cleaning - Chantilly and Falls Church.

The position will primarily be answering phones, booking jobs and setting up cleaning appointments for customers. The job will also require in-store interaction while customers are dropping off rugs for cleaning and/or shopping for flooring. New flooring sales will be handled by a salesperson however it will be important and a requirement for the CSR to assist in the sale by asking basic questions, setting up in-home appointments for the sales staff and ordering of products/samples.

Duties entail but not limited to:

• Answer incoming phone calls
• Booking service jobs
• Face to face customer interaction for rug cleaning drop-offs and new flooring inquiries
• Support technicians in the field with any questions they may have
• Create work orders and estimates
• Schedule jobs
• Assist employees with daily tasks
• Answer customer questions and defuse any customer concerns
• Accurately record all information gathered in a central database
• Perform follow-up calls on completed and estimated orders
• Develop leads through current clients
• Various administrative tasks

Compensation and benefits package for full-time employees include; hourly pay rate with a bonus component, company-assisted group health insurance, matching 401K, dental, paid time off, and holiday pay.
