Job description
We are currently in search of a Sales Analyst Team Lead to join our Sales department of the Marquardt Group in our location Rochester Hills (USA).
The Sales Analyst Team Lead will report to the Director of Sales and is responsible for leading, supervising, and ensuring training for a team of Sales Analysts. The Manager will deliver compliant sales administrative support to ensure robust contract management, excellent customer service, and responsive change management. In addition, the Manager will coordinate the various customer survey questionnaires including supply chain surveys, diversity and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the sales analysts to follow internal processes- Manage and analyze open issues or potential program challenges
- Build, manage and motivate the Sales Analyst team
- Report any account concerns and escalate issues when necessary to appropriate leadership including KAMs
- Supports all sales activities within the development process, including sample order fulfillment, settlement of project and ECN Workflow steps
- Contract and PO Management, review and filing with KAM
- Assures timely review and input in workflow for engineering changes by Sales department
- Works with finance department on Invoices, overdue AR issues, debit disputes and credit line management
- Escalates overdue AR issues with customer
- Supports customer complaints; Addresses, escalates commercial topics in case of logistics and quality charges
- Follows up on price negotiations, maintains price sheets and ensures annual price alignment
- Lead service part quotation process
- Solid understanding of supply chain logistics processes
- Translate contracts into scheduling agreements, EDI process
- Works with SAP, understands and able to read material master data & BOM
- Administrates Customer Portals
- Manages the answer of customer surveys, assembles appropriate cross-functional team, ensures answers are provided on time
- Works with Production planning and manages customer capacity tickets \ spikes to be answered on time
- Manages the timely answering of Engagement\ Capacity studies for volume increases and or additional programs
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an automotive sales administrator function- 3+ years of experience leading a team
- Excellent SAP, PLM and Excel skills are essential
- Working knowledge of customer supplier portal(s) ; GM, Stellantis, Ford, Toyota
- Associate’s Degree in a related field is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple internal stakeholders through to General Manager
