About the job

The Sales Analyst, Publix based remotely is Florida, will proactively analyze customer performance to inform and support the sales team in driving the business at Publix. They will co-host weekly / monthly connect calls with key stakeholders. In addition, the individual will be responsible for pulling customer data, tracking results, and performing analyses that provide actionable insights and help to shape customer conversations. This individual must be detail oriented to ensure timely and accurate input of sales / customer information into data systems. This position will be instrumental in supporting the sales teams with administrative tasks, tool creation/enhancement as well as business performance management.


Gather data and perform analyses to support sales team in managing the growing business
  • Own the weekly data pull for the customer scorecard including volume, distribution, bump charts
  • Provide CBM insight on customer portal data
  • Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development
  • Improve forecasting through development and maintenance of weekly customer forecast templates (trade and volume templates)
Input information for sales teams into systems
  • Support sales on submitting sales plans into trade management system across all categories
  • Submit accurate and timely customer promotional contracts
  • Input expected trade spend (total customer plan) for each promo into trade management system
Support sales teams with administrative tasks
  • Provide support on contract development and new item submission
  • Ensure deal actualization process
Provide Divisional Leadership with Monthly updates
  • Utilize IRI and customer portal data to understand Year over Year changes in volume
  • Summarize cause of change for key pack groups

You will be accountable for:
  • Utilizing syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutions
  • Tracking account-level performance and provide CBM/Senior CBM with adjustment recommendations
  • Owning audit compliance at +90% accuracy
  • Driving collaboration with deductions team and CBM in deduction resolution
  • Assisting with customer authorization reports and grids
About you

About you:

  • You will have a Bachelors Degree
  • You will have 0 to 2 years work experience
  • Analytical skills and ability to analyze data
  • You will be Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint
  • You will be Exceptional with Microsoft Office, Excel
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • You will have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You will have demonstrated leadership skills
  • You must be able to travel 10 - 15%

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000-65,000.
