Sales Analyst

We are currently in search of a Sales Analyst to join our Sales department of the Marquardt Group in our location Rochester Hills (USA).

The Sales Analyst/Specialist will be responsible for supporting the acquisition of customers and projects in close coordination with the key account managers and management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support Key Account managers
  • Record planning (e.g. APO-monthly rolling planning) according to specifications of key account managers and management
  • Support on sales activities subjects PEP landscape, sample orders and coordination, marketing logistics tasks, PROCO, settlement of projects; ECN Workflow
  • Intervene when there are deviations during the sales processing and participate in the solution finding for these in coordination with the functional department
  • Support daily activities in customer web portals
  • Support customer demands and develop customer offers in close coordination with key account managers
  • Assist in the creation of customer specific documentation including set up of new customers in SAP
  • Coordinate with production, shipping and logistics regarding delivery of customer orders
  • Create and maintain updated customer records including contact, product information, and customer profiles
  • Coordinate, follow up and track leads and samples
  • Track and confirm delivery of expedited and/or priority shipments
  • Monitor all special pricing, contract pricing structures, complaints
  • Support the finance department regarding customer payment issues
  • Load contracts into PLM for review

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience supporting a sales team; experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred
  • Experience interfacing with customers in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced computer skills, including the use of SAP, PLM, and MS Office software
  • Advanced verbal communication skills, including group presentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to work across departments of the organization in a team environment
  • Ability to learn technical specifications to represent our products
  • Ability to multi-task and independently manage workload
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents
  • Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
