Safety Assistants deliver basic personal care and monitor the patient to preserve the patient's autonomy, dignity, and rights. Safety Assistants must be committed to providing the highest quality of service and meeting our patients' needs with utmost care and courtesy. Safety Assistants remain at patient's bedside to receive and provide reports from/to nurses and nursing assistants. In addition, Safety Assistants facilitate patient comfort by providing necessities (drinks, blankets, etc) and personal assistance (reading, companionship, etc).High School diploma/GED required. Prefer nursing students or experienced nursing assistants.
