Nekoosa – Safety Administrator

Mission To deliver on the Nekoosa corporate Safety metrics and manage administrative compliance relative to EHS.

Priorities

• EHS Compliance and Administration
  • Full document control and site compliance management.
    • EHS Training Management
    • Safety Participation Program Management
    • EHS-related Inspections - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annual Compliance
    • EHS Centralized File Management – OSHA 300 Logs, Incident Reports, Near Misses, etc.
    • TFR and DART Metric Management
    • EHS Compliance Calendar Management
• EHS Planning and Event Coordination
  • Coordinate and plan all safety, environmental and wellness events.
• Safety, Wellness and Environmental Team Awareness
  • Weekly/Monthly Communications
  • Topics of Interest – distribute fun and interesting safety and wellness information to our team on a monthly basis.
  • Update the Nekoosa App & Yo Deck EHS-related information

• Achieve site metrics
  • Safety - Zero OSHA Recordables and 100% safety participation
  • Environmental - Zero Notice of Violation’s (NOV’s)
  • Housekeeping – at or exceeding plant standards
• Manage production employee training program and matrix

• 
  Collaborate with the Corporate EHS Manager to ensure EHS targets and customer requests are achieved
• Provide Ops Managers with metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance
• Provide production team members clear visibility and support
• Any actions or decisions should impact all other site metrics positively (i.e. Safety, Environmental, Health)

• 
  Bachelor’s degree preferred in environmental engineering, safety management, or similar experience
• A minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, NFPA & ANSI
• Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities
• Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
